Forget Ghost Hunters, I’ve Experienced the Real Thing

Published by lindsay at 11:14 pm under Media, Thinking Edit This

punderson.jpgSo I’m staying at Punderson State Park in Ohio, and i’m at the bar. I strike up a conversation with some other people, and the park ranger walks over and starts chatting with us as well.

He starts telling us about how the place is haunted. He’s had multiple people tell them about their encounters with the Windsor Suite. One lady thought her husband was giving her a massage, only to roll over in bed and find nobody there. Another couple had the TV keep turning on, until finally the guy unplugged the TV…but it came back on again.

Believe me, as the park ranger told this, he made it clear he doesn’t even believe in ghosts. But the mere fact that 7 feet from the bar we were sitting at, a man hung himself, it gave me chills.

Long story short, we get to take a look at this haunted suite. Let me tell you, i’m not a believer and I had chills up and down my spine. You feel something as soon as you walk in the room. Even the ranger said he doesn’t believe in any of this stuff, but said he came in the room one time and it was cold throughout the room. Anyone who knows about ghosts knows that could be a sign they are there.

If you’re tired of watching Ghost Hunters with really nothing happening, go to Punderson. Let’s be honest, we never REALLY see the shadow of the man walking that they see. The cameras just aren’t fast enough…riiiiiiight.

Go to Punderson State Park in Newbury, Ohio. The place is beautiful and haunted. Beautifully haunted.
